Moon Ball

For HPE we had a game of moon ball. We had to keep the dooge ball in the air for a long time.

This was a teamwork activity. Also we got a piece of paper with a human body drawn out. My group and I had a rough start to keep the ball in the air but we communicated to each other and we succeeded. We got the ball in the air for 26 seconds.

Then we wrote down the information that we didn’t want to see in the game that we were playing and what we wanted to see in the game.

The game meant that no one wins but it was a game that everyone can enjoy.

I like this game because it was my first time playing, and others should play this game too.

LI: Identify characteristics of a good team member

Minecraft Combat

I read the whole book of Minecraft Combat Handbook. The author of the book is Stephanie Milton and Paul Soares Jr.

One fact about the minecraft book is that it talks about how to defeat a player.

Another fact is that it talks about how to make potions and, how to defeat the ender dragon or the wither.

The last fact is that the book tells about the mobs in the game and their health bar.

This book is a fun and interesting book to read.

I enjoyed this book because it talks about information about mobs and stuff. Others could read this book if they haven't played minecraft before.

The Brilliant World Of Tom Gates

I read 21 pages of The Brilliant World Of Tom Gates. The author of the book is Liz Pichon.

I read this part. It was that Tom Gates house is 4 minutes away from his school but he comes late. Because he walks with his best mate Derek and they always, get distracted by fruit chews and caramel wafers. 

Another page I read is that he went camping with his family but then they got lost. Tom's parents yelled at each other when the dad got them lost and, the mum didn't tell the direction correctly. 

This book is a fun and interesting book to read. I haven't read The Brilliant World Of Tom Gates before and it a cool book for me to read.

Basic Fact Sheet

The activity I did was to create a sheet and do our doubles and number bonds.

First my partners and I used the uni-linked cubes to find out the number that can add up to 10 and 20. 

Next I used the Google sheet to record these basic facts.

Lastly I used copy (Ctrl C) and paste (Ctrl V) to copy the number bond for the doubles because it was a repeated pattern.

I enjoyed this task for me to learn. I didn’t really need to use the cubes but I used them to double check my mistakes. I would like to do this task again.
