Talofa Lava.

My name is Xavier. I am Samoan. I am in LS1 at Panmure Bridge School. I enjoy Maths and Writing. At home I like gaming in my spare time.

This week we watched a performance by a Kapa Haka group.

First they did a special ceremony to welcome us.

Then they used this special shell. It's to warn there tribe that people are near by.

Next they told us about the poi and taiaha. The taiaha is to frighten of the enemy. The poi is for dancing or performing.

After we played Matau and Maui. Matau means you go right Maui means you go left.

I enjoyed this performance i'd like to see it again because it scared me.
