Swimming Recount

“Yay!” I was so excited because my class and I were going to the
swimming pools. Every Thursday we always go to the swimming pools
to swim and learn about water safety. Water safety is important
because if you don't know how to stay safe in the water you should
go into the swimming pools and learn how to stay safe in the water.

The first activity we always do is go in the little pool when
we got in a little pools and it was cold. At the little pools we had
to go to the end of the pool. Then we had to put our hand up
and dive down in the pool and swim to the other side of the pool.
It was fun swimming to the other side of the pool.

The next activity we did is jumping out of the small and walking
to the large pool and when we got to the large pool it getting warm
when it was getting warm we had to swim to the white platform and
then we had to float back front. It was hard and fun but some of us
were getting the hang of it. 

After the floating activity we got to retrieve the toy that the swim
teacher thought in the water and we had to get it and give it back
to the teacher and let other people get the toy from the bottom of the
water. It was hard because it is hard to get to the bottom of the pool
but it was kind of easy. 

Finally we had to finish off by diving down in the water and
getting to the other side and it was fun diving under while
we were diving down and trying to get to the other side.
Then we had to get out of the pool and get changed for school
and the bus driver was ready to take us back to school. 

I like it when we are at the Lagoon pools on all Thursdays.

I want to go to the Lagoon pools with my family.
