Read the poem


Identify the two metaphors in the poem   Marshmellow boats - refers to marshmallow floating
in the hot chocolate   


Chocolate sea - refers to hot chocolate looking like the sea.


Identify the simile   Like a silver typhoon - refers to a spoon that looks like the spoon is
spinning around the hot chocolate.


Write down the pairs of rhyming words  sea and me pink and sink wobble and bobble

Today we did metaphors, simile and rhyming and the book we did was Storm in a Teacup.
